The West Yadkin Fire Department is a dedicated professional organization made up of an elite team of firefighters and emergency service providers.  We take pride in being an aggressive and dedicated Fire Company in Yadkin County.  Our goal is to provide our citizens and neighbors with top quality, professional services to educate our community, reduce life safety hazards, and mitigate emergency incidents.  Our department has a dedicated membership of volunteers and career firefighters, who have a fleet of state of the art fire equipment to deliver the best service to our community.  This website is here as one example of the equipment to better serve you.  Please take time to use this tool to learn more about us and what we do!

Tower Ladder 18 rolled onto the apron of its new home at the 18 House for the first time today.  The apparatus will serve as the primary Ladder Company for West Yadkin Fire and southwest Yadkin County.  We are very excited to get this new resource in service for our department.

Rescue Engine 1804 responded to a single vehicle MVA on I-77 this evening involving a single vehicle that ran off the highway and struck several trees.

Rescue Engine 1804 and Engine 1801 responded to a MVA with a rescue on Old 421 just west of Cox Mill Rd for a vehicle overturned down an embankment.  18 firefighters extricated the victim who was then transported by EMS.
