The West Yadkin Fire Department is a dedicated professional organization made up of an elite team of firefighters and emergency service providers.  We take pride in being an aggressive and dedicated Fire Company in Yadkin County.  Our goal is to provide our citizens and neighbors with top quality, professional services to educate our community, reduce life safety hazards, and mitigate emergency incidents.  Our department has a dedicated membership of volunteers and career firefighters, who have a fleet of state of the art fire equipment to deliver the best service to our community.  This website is here as one example of the equipment to better serve you.  Please take time to use this tool to learn more about us and what we do!

West Yadkin responded to a passenger vehicle fire on SB Interstate 77 just north of Highway 421.  Engine 1801 arrived and reported a well involved car fire.  Personnel were able to extinguish the fire in under 5 minutes.  1801 and 1803 were on scene.
