The West Yadkin Fire Department is a dedicated professional organization made up of an elite team of firefighters and emergency service providers. We take pride in being an aggressive and dedicated Fire Company in Yadkin County. Our goal is to provide our citizens and neighbors with top quality, professional services to educate our community, reduce life safety hazards, and mitigate emergency incidents. Our department has a dedicated membership of volunteers and career firefighters, who have a fleet of state of the art fire equipment to deliver the best service to our community. Placed this in our stations recreation room this evening. It measures 6 ft. wide by 3 ft. 9 Inches tall. Wood was donated by FF Stuart Earp and Captain Ricky Snow done all the woodworking and painting. Awesome job!

MVA was at the 4 way intersection of Hwy 21 S, Hoots Rd and Rocky Branch Rd. @ 10:38am. Rescue Engine 1804, Ladder 18 assisted by Stations 9, 24, Yadkin EMS, Yadkin County Sherrif's Office and NCSHP. 2 patients transported to a Winston - Salem Hospital.

Station 18 was on scene of a MVA Entrapment 421 SB just south of Hwy. 21. Patient freed by Station 18 within a couple of minutes being on the scene. Rescue Engine 1804, Ladder 18 and Car 18 responded.

Station 18 was on scene of a hit and run MVA rollover 421 North Bound just before Windsor Rd 267 Exit. Rescue Engine 1804 and Ladder 18 on scene. Luckily no one hurt. Hit and Run was later found just inside Wilkes County on the Dennyville Rd Exit.
